Nicholas Lin has over 15 years of experience in ecommerce and the information technology industry. Starting his first eBay business at the ripe age of thirteen, it paved the way for his wildly successful company UnoTelly. UnoTelly attained global popularity by providing DNS (Domain Name Server) and VPN (Virtual Private Network) services for people to watch geoblocked channels in their countries.
The idea first came about during his Commerce program at Queen’s University in Kingston Ontario where he took the risk of dropping out early to work on UnoTelly. Growing up in Shenzhen, China and moving to Canada at twelve years old, his life experiences have driven him to constantly learn new things and do extensive research on future markets for opportunities. Winning web design competitions as a child was only the beginning of gaining worldwide recognition. Nicholas has been interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, Globe and Mail and Business Spectator and a variety of other news sources.
Nicholas also studied Commerce at Uppsala University in Uppsala, Sweden and is fluent in Mandarin and Catonese.
